Eyecatcher received a big order to supply Height Safety Systems for the Grande Mosque in Algeria. One of the world’s largest mosques that has a 265 mtr-high minaret. It can accommodate 120.000 people. The Djamaa El Djazair mosque is being built facing the picturesque bay of Algiers as part of a complex that will include a one-million book library, a Koranic school and a museum of Islamic art and history. Part of the order will be one hundred Overhead Line Systems type Travelfix.

As European manufacturer of height safety systems it is obligatory to produce and trade these safety products according to regulations on the Dutch and European market.

The Guideline 89/686/EEG and the upcoming Verordening 2016/425 clearly state the rules. Especially EC-products with a EC-certificate, being the EN-795:2012 type B & E, are highly regulated.
