Working on flat or sloped roofs is inextricably linked to fall hazards. To work safely at heights, proper fall protection systems are necessary. Eyecatcher offers several permanent fall protection solutions. Eyecatcher’s anchor points are suitable for any type of roofing material and can always be finished properly watertight. For any roof construction (wood, steel, concrete), a solid fastening technique is available.

Type of fall protection
In the case of sloping roofs or for aesthetic reasons, there are low roof securing points and line systems. Does the roof have gravel as ballast or a green roof? Then raised anchor points and line systems are available as solutions, as well as fall protection that does not puncture the roof covering. That way, the chance of leakage is 100% eliminated.All our fall protection systems are quick to install, easy to use and tested according to current EN standards.
Fall protection maintenance and inspection
All climbing and fall protection systems must meet the inspection and maintenance requirements at least once every twelve months and after every fall. This is not optional and is required by law from EN-365:2004 and the Occupational Health and Safety Act article 7.4-Inspections. If a supervisor or inspector requests it, you are obliged at all times to provide insight into the inspection records. Inspection reports are drawn up for each system as proof, and in the event of approval, Eyecatcher BV also supplies a certificate for the record. Every approved product or system is also given a Green Safety Tag, a clearly visible approval.
Standards
Eyecatcher is aware, that fall protection and PPE fall under the toughest category in terms of regulations, as falls from height can be fatal. Therefore, no concessions are made for the products in terms of quality, reliability and compliance with regulations. All of our products comply with current EN standards, having been extensively tested and certified by DEKRA Testing and Certification GmbH. That’s a good idea, because at the end of the day, Safe at Work & back home applies!
