Phase 3: Applying fixed and mobile fall protection Why this 3-phase training The correct and safe use of PPE is something the participant is familiar with or has completed the 1-phase training, the participant is able to recognize risks when working at height and how to deal with them, and now learns in the 3-phase training how to install temporary or permanent anchor points or facilities correctly and safely. In this course, participants are comprehensively informed about the different types of anchor points for various substrates and how to install them themselves. Both permanent anchor points and the use of possible mobile anchor points are covered. After attending the final phase safety training, the participant is able to make a correct selection of anchor points and install them correctly on various roof structures. The correct and safe positions of anchor points are also taught. This allows the participant to secure the workplace at height and prevent fall hazards.
