Phase 2 : Workplace Risks at Height Why this 2-phase training After attending the 1-phase training, a participant is familiar with the proper deployment and use of Personal Protective Equipment. Now it’s all about recognizing hazards that may be present at a work at height. Becoming aware of these hazards and the opportunities and requirements to prevent falls at height are the focus of this course. Moving and moving safely from one work level to another, learning to read the workplace at height and the options for eliminating or reducing the risks are taught. Not just theory, but again combined with practical training in area limitation, work positioning and fall arrest techniques. Working on anchor points and line systems, climbing a loosely erected ladder, a fixed ladder and a cage ladder. Climbing these ladders with a double line, fixed cable system or fixed rail system. Applying a temporary horizontal line to quickly and easily set up a secure work area. And finally knowing how to deal with an emergency, what to do if you have fallen yourself and explaining what a hanging trauma entails and can possibly be prevented.
