Vertical line system for climbing equipment The Vertifix consists of a vertical line system combined with a moving shuttle, suitable for securing climbing equipment. The climbing equipment can include cage & climbing ladders, steps on wind turbines and the like. Both round and square steps can be easily attached to the Vertifix line system. The vertical line system can also be attached directly to steel or concrete structures, towers or masts. Using an extension tube, the wire rope passes beyond the top rung or step. This keeps the user safely hooked up until the moment of leaving the ladder. According to the new EN-353-1:2014, it must be excluded for a Vertical Line System, that the shuttle can be used incorrectly. Due to the innovative and patented double security, it is impossible to incorrectly connect the Vertifix Shuttle to the Vertifix Line System, thus ensuring the safety of the user. Furthermore, the fall force must be reduced to below 6kN. The innovative and patented S-Energy Absorber ensures that this requirement is met, without using a spring system and/or damping package on the Shuttle.
